Mary Anne Rizzolo, EdD, RN, ANEF, FAAN
Dr. Rizzolo is a member of the SSH Board and serves as the Board liaison to the Certification Committee and chairs the Fellowship Academy Committee. She has been a member of SSH since 2007. In the 1980’s she pioneered the development of screen-based interactive patient case study simulations that won national and international awards. During her tenure at the National League for Nursing (NLN) she managed all of the simulation projects. She retired from NLN in 2010 but maintains an active consulting practice. Carla M. Pugh, MD, PhD, FACS
Doctor Carla Pugh is currently Vice-Chair of Education and Patient Safety in the Department of Surgery at University Wisconsin, Madison. She is also Director of UW-Health’s Inter-Professional Clinical Simulation Program. Her clinical area of expertise is Acute Care Surgery. The use of simulation technology to assess and quantitatively define hands-on clinical skills is one of her major research areas. In 2011 Dr. Pugh received the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers.
