CHSE CHSOS Registration Policy


Changes to the Agenda
SSH reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to make changes to the Certification Blueprint  Review program. Every effort will be made to keep presentations and speakers as represented. However, unforeseen circumstances may result in the substitution of presentation topic(s) speaker(s), or event(s). In the event that the course has to be cancelled or changed, SSH is not liable to Registrants for any damages, losses, costs, or other liability, including but not limited to transportation, visa application, or accommodation costs. SSH is not liable to attendees for any costs, fees, expenses, damages, or other liability relating to changes to the course, including but not limited to date, content, speakers or venue.

Certification Blueprint Review – Develop Your Study Plan

Join us for ONLINE or LIVE Study!

Develop your personal action study plan for study by attending one of SSH's Certification Blueprint Review Courses, now being offered both online and live. Led by experienced simulation experts, the Certification Blueprint Review Course is designed to build your core knowledge of simulation principles and practice.  The program will also help you identify areas of strength and weakness in your knowledge and practice of simulation.  Attendees are encouraged to have a working knowledge of simulation education with at least 12 months of experience working in the field of simulation.  Registration is only $295 and includes study resources!

NOTE:  The Certification Blueprint Review Course is NOT Test or Exam Prep, and does not contain instruction on how to pass SSH Certification Exams. It is a study and review course, built on the framework of the SSH Certification Blueprints, designed to help you and identify gaps in your knowledge and application of simulation practice.

Join us and:

  1. Learn the components of the certification process. This interactive course introduction will focus on exam prerequisites, the application process and study resources.
  2. Identify your simulation knowledge and practice strengths and weaknesses. The CHSE or CHSOS exam blueprint will be the basis for discussion.
  3. Develop your personal study action plan. Instructors will help you create a step-by-step action plan that includes a timeline, study tools and resources, key dates and more.

The CHSE Blueprint Review explores the CHSE Blueprint Knowledge Domains:

  1. Educate and Assess Learners Using Simulation
  2. Display Professional Values and Capabilities
  3. Demonstrate Knowledge of Simulation Principles, Practice and Methodology
  4. Manage Overall Simulation Resources and Environments
  5. Engage in Scholarly Activities

The CHSOS Blueprint Review explores the CHSOS Blueprint Knowledge Domains:

  1. Concepts in Healthcare and Simulation
  2. Simulation Modalities and Technologies
  3. Healthcare Simulation Program Practices/Processes/Procedures
  4. Professional Role Development
  5. Instructional Design and Theory

Accreditation Statement

In support of improving patient care, the Society for Simulation in Healthcare is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive a maximum of 44.5 Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) credits for learning and change.
