RESEARCH COMMITTEE BYLAWS
Purpose (bylaws)

1) Develop and promote recommendations for research on simulation-based practice, education in the facilitation of patient safety, especially with regard to describing, verifying, and publishing simulation-based research.

2) Advocate for improvement and availability of simulation-based research settings for research on and with simulation.

Committee Charge

The committee advocates for and assists in supporting the improvement of simulation-based research, research infrastructure, and researchers. The goal of simulation-based research is to improve patient safety and quality of care by improving the use of simulation in basic education, continuous training, simulation-based research, simulation-based assessment and other uses of simulation.
