Welcome to the SSH Surgery Interest Group Homepage

Welcome to the Special Interest group for Surgery web page. The group was started in 2008. Its membership started out small, but as the excitement about surgical simulation group, it now has over 75 members. We hope that this web site will serve as an information hub for information as well as a link to other useful websites. We will try and keep our calendar up to date with any meetings or conferences specifically focused toward surgery. This year is a very exciting year for the Surgery SIG. We will be holding a full day educational program at the IMSH 2011, consisting of (4) separate workshops (date TBD). Below we have listed the topics which will be discussed. Kio and I Hope to see all of you in new Orleans! I have included both of our email addresses if you wish to contact us.

Mission: The mission of the surgery interest group is to serve as a unifying resource to facilitate education, practice and research to the many stakeholders involved in surgical simulation.
