During these unprecedented times, the Society for Simulation in Healthcare understands the uncertainty you likely have regarding any upcoming travel to and participation in traditional conferences. The situation surrounding COVID-19 continues to evolve, and government and institutional policies and guidance continue to adjust. Please know that SSH is considering all relevant factors when planning future events.
At this time, the International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare (IMSH) is scheduled to occur in New Orleans, Louisiana, January 9-13, 2021. We have no intention of canceling the conference; however, it may become necessary to change the conference format and delivery in order to adhere to safety guidelines and restrictions. SSH is developing contingency strategies for IMSH, among them a virtual option for those who are unable to attend. SSH will continue to monitor the situation relevant to IMSH, and will promptly communicate any updates to the community.
IMSH is very much about sharing knowledge and learning, regardless of the modalities employed. To that end, we are now accepting submission for IMSH content. The deadline for content submission is Friday, June 5, 2020.
We encourage you to submit content for IMSH, even if you are uncertain if you will be able to attend.
We strongly encourage you to submit by the deadline of June 5, 2020. This will allow your submission to be reviewed for consideration with final acceptances sent in late August and confirmation of acceptance in September.
Jennifer Manos, MBA, MSN, RN
SSH Executive Director
