On Saturday this year at IMSH 2025, come have some fun and play in our first-ever IMSH Cornhole Tournament!
It’s a new event this year and we think it will be a wonderful opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new ones! Don’t want to play? Come out and support your colleagues and peers who are. (The tournament will take place prior to the Exhibit Hall Reception, so it’s right where you want to be.)
Don’t be shy – it doesn’t matter if you have a teammate or not, we want you to play! Space is limited to 96 two-person teams, and slots are already filling up. The entry fee is just $25 per person and ALL proceeds benefit the SSH Fund. That's right... every single dollar raised from the event will support Research Grants, cash prizes for the SimVentor Awards, Beverlee Anderson Scholarships, and the Chad Epps Keynote Lecture.
The SSH Fund is a voluntary philanthropic initiative started in 2023. The purpose of the SSH Fund is to provide financial resources for important member-driven initiatives, like those mentioned above. As funds are raised each year, a portion of the money is distributed to create immediate impact, and a portion is placed in a reserve fund that will create a foundation for long-term sustainability. Over time, as the needs of our members and the SSH community evolve, so will the SSH Fund.
You can learn more about the cornhole tournament here and I hope to see you there when we all meet in Orlando this January for IMSH 2025!
If you have any questions about the SSH Fund or how you can support philanthropy at SSH, please contact me at jhale@ssih.org. I’ll be happy to speak with and assist you!
Sincerely,
Jeff Hale
SSH Director of Development
