There are just NINE weeks left until IMSH 2025, and this November, SSH Accreditation is incredibly excited about what's to come!

It's been another incredible year with a record number of programs seeking SSH Accreditation, and we look forward to celebrating their achievements. Join us at the President's Diamond Ball on Friday, January 10, and at a special networking event for Accredited Programs on Saturday, January 11, right before the grand opening of the exhibit hall.

We're also excited to connect with programs that have yet to achieve accreditation. During the annual meeting, SSH Accreditation will continue to offer general sessions like "Top 10 Things to Know About Applying for SSH Accreditation." But, for the first time ever, we're offering a unique opportunity for applicant programs to participate in a pre-conference workshop led by our most experienced SSH Accreditation Reviewers and SSH Accreditation Department staff.

SSH Presents: Accreditation Application Readiness

Registered attendees of "SSH Presents: Accreditation Application Readiness" will learn about the application process and connect with reviewers about specific areas of accreditation that interest their program. We'd love to learn about your program's accreditation goals! To join this workshop, please select "SSH Presents: Accreditation Application Readiness" within your IMSH pre-conference registration options.

Finally, we'd be remiss this November if we didn't express our sincere gratitude to all our wonderful SSH Accreditation volunteers who serve as Accreditation Program Reviewers. You're a diverse and talented group with clinical, educational, and operational backgrounds in healthcare simulation. Your subject matter expertise enhances the quality of the accreditation review experience for our applicant programs. Thank you for your dedication to SSH Accreditation!

For those who have considered applying to become an Accreditation Program Reviewer, please do! It's a great opportunity to learn what other programs are doing in simulation-based education, assessment, research, systems integration, and fellowship programs. We accept applications year-round and invite you to submit yours! For more information, including application documents, please visit our webpage.

Sincerely,

Kristyn Gadlage
SSH Director of Accreditation
