As we approach the end of 2024, it is providing the SSH Membership Department plenty of things to be thankful for!

We are full steam ahead in preparation for the International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare (IMSH)!  Our 25^th Anniversary of IMSH is on track to set many records for both attendees and exhibitors! And, in addition to that ... 

• Not only is IMSH in a special anniversary year, we are also celebrating 20 years of SSH!  Earlier in November, SSH reached an all-time high in our membership numbers and is 5,434 members strong!  SSH could not do all of the groundbreaking work in the healthcare simulation field without our many volunteers within the organization including our Internal Relations Committee, which is looking forward to hosting two member orientation sessions at IMSH in January. 

We are also hosting both virtual and in-person sessions for our IMSH Connections program, which is built for IMSH first-time.  If you have signed up to be a part of this group, keep an eye out for more information very soon!

• We have seen huge growth in our SSH Sections, Special Interest Groups, and Affinity Groups this year!  We are thrilled to announce SEVEN new groups have been added in 2024, which helps increase the diversity of our networking opportunities specific to our members' areas of focus within simulation.

•  Thanks to the generosity of the SSH Fund, the Internal Relations Committee was able to award FOUR scholarships for IMSH attendees!
