Australasian Simulation Congress (held under the auspices of Simulation Australasia Ltd.), September 26-29, 2016 Victoria, Australia

Simulation Australasia and the SimTecT / SimHealth Organising Committees are thrilled to present the inaugural Australasian Simulation Congress (ASC) and have great pleasure in inviting you to join us at our 2016 Conference.

This year we are Melbourne bound, to celebrate in effect, our coming of age. Yes, it’s our 21st birthday.

We are celebrating our birthday with the beginning of a new conference chapter, our new name and hosting our birthday during Melbourne’s biggest week of celebration.

You are encouraged to join us as we highlight our Congress key theme of Leadership.

The leadership that thrives within our community and drives World’s Best Practice, Scientific Breakthrough, Commercial Excellence and Technological Innovation, all in the one exciting conference  as we unite again, SimTecT and SimHealth, now together as curated streams of the newly titled Australasian Simulation Congress. This year we also stand alongside an old ally, the International Simulation and Gaming Association (ISAGA), as we incorporate their 47th meeting and throw open our doors to a wider public audience.

The Australasian Simulation Congress will, in September 2016, will combine to see industry capability matched with scientific research in our Congress program and this year, our Exhibition will have a dedicated program of activities including an industry showcase in which all delegates will be offered an exciting, stimulating and engaging program.

We looking forward to seeing you this September.

New Zealand Association for Simulation in Healthcare (NZASH), October 14-15, Wellington, NZ

It is with great pleasure that we would like to invite colleagues to join us for the NZASH Conference 2016 in Wellington on the 14-15 October 2016.

The conference theme is ‘Reaching Out,’ reflecting the need and ability of simulation in healthcare to expand beyond the simulation enthusiasts, tertiary health centres and clinical skills suites.  The format of the programme will be held over two days, with concurrent sessions and workshops encouraging the engagement of delegates. This forum will provide an update relevant to all practising physicians, nurses, paramedics and technicians, as well as the latest advances in our specialty.

To date we have confirmation from Professor Jean Ker from the University of Dundee, Dr Traci Wolbrink from the Boston’s Children Hospital and Prof Jenny Weller from Auckland University as key speakers, all who bring exciting aspects to the conference.

We are pleased to be holding the conference in vibrant Wellington. Famous for its coffee, Wellington has an array of restaurants and cafes close at hand.  Take time to explore the city and visit attractions such as Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa and the renowned Cuba Street.

We look forward to seeing you.
