Sim Ops 2014 will be held at The Peter M. Winter Institute for Simulation Education and Research (WISER). WISER is a world class multidisciplinary training and research facility. WISER is an institute of the University of Pittsburgh with a mission to conduct research and training programs utilizing simulation based education to provide a safer environment for patients of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and its affiliates.  
WISER has been performing healthcare simulation since 1994. Since then, WISER has trained thousands of healthcare professionals in a variety of simulation settings and conducted thousands of simulation based training encounters. WISER participants include undergraduate nurses, pharmacists, medical students, residents, fellows, practicing physicians and nurses, respiratory therapists, and professionals from many other disciplines.
WISER is an SSH Accredited Program in the areas of Assessment, Research, Teaching/Education, and Systems Integration
