Simulation in Healthcare anticipates openings for Associate Editors. Simulation in Healthcare is a multidisciplinary publication encompassing all areas of applications and research in healthcare simulation technology. The journal is indexed in Index Medicus/MEDLINE and the Science Citation Index and is relevant to a broad range of clinical and biomedical specialties; and publishes original basic, clinical, and translational research.
Associate Editors play a major role in selecting the content published in the journal. They also share responsibility for managing current issues that affect the publication process and help guide the future of the journal.
Applicants must have a strong record of peer-reviewed publications in indexed journals and experience as an editor, editorial board member, or journal reviewer (a history of reviewing for Simulation in Healthcare is preferred). We seek applicants with a PhD, MD, or equivalent doctoral degree; but will consider well-qualified applicants if they possess a strong research, publication and reviewing track record. Preference will be given to applicants from anesthesiology, general medicine, and obstetrics and gynecology. Experience in assessment and statistical methods or engineering and technology is also desired.
Applicants should send a letter of intent and a CV by September 15, to Karl Durst, Managing Editor (journal@ssih.org).
