IMSH 2027 Education Associate Scholarship
An IMSH Education Associate provides support to SSH staff during IMSH. As an Education Associate, you will be scheduled to work half-day shifts as IMSH support staff. You will be free to enjoy IMSH as an attendee in the hours you are not scheduled to work. This associate opportunity is for healthcare simulationists who would otherwise be unable to attend IMSH.
The scholarship includes:
- Full registration for IMSH 2027
- $1,500 USD reimbursement paid after completion of IMSH 2027 for travel expenses
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting IMSH attendees with wayfinding, staffing the information desk
- Mobile app super user: you will be trained on all the features of the mobile app to assist attendees in need
- Room monitor: you’ll be assigned rooms to check in on and report back any changes to room layouts
- Greeting and badge scanning attendees for plenary and education sessions
- Resource support & hands-on workshops supply management
- Exhibit hall support staff; you’ll be assigned tasks on the exhibit hall floor to monitor, such as SimVentors Showcase, Exhibit Hall Theater, Research Poster coordination
Travel Expectations:
- Arrival in New Orleans, LA on Friday, January 22, 2027
- Depart from New Orleans, Louisiana on Wednesday, January 27, 2027
An informational session for those selected to be Education Associates will be scheduled prior to arrival at IMSH 2027.
