IMSH 2026 Technology Summit Planning Team Co-Chair
Technology Summit Planning Co-chairs provide member-based leadership and perspective to the design, organization, and conduct of the event. They come from the ranks of SSH active members, typically with a multi-year history of providing support, contributions, or leadership within the Society. Planning Team Co-chairs can be self-nominated or nominated by their peers. The Meetings Oversight Commission (MOC) reviews the nominees and selects (guided by a slating tool) the top candidates for approval by the Executive Committee of the SSH Board of Directors.

IMSH 2027 Co-Chairs
The Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) is requesting nominations for Co-Chairs for the International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare (IMSH) 2027. See the full position description.
HOW TO APPLY:
TO NOMINATE YOURSELF
If you are interested in being considered for the position, submit the following in ONE EMAIL to tjessup@ssih.org with the subject: IMSH Co-Chair Nomination. Please include the following items:
- Abbreviated CV / Biosketch (3 pages or less) - Any format accepted, NIH format not required. (An abbreviated CV is requested in order to focus the Meetings Oversight Commission on the items relevant to the application.)
- Completed Nominations Application Form
- Completed Leadership Disclosure of Interest Form
TO NOMINATE SOMEONE ELSE
If you are interested in nominating a fellow SSH member for one of the open positions, please send an e-mail to tjessup@ssih.orgwith the name of the individual and their email address, with the subject: IMSH Co-Chair Nomination. SSH staff will then contact that member to acquire the required documents listed above.
You will receive a confirmation within three (3) business days. If you do not receive confirmation or have any questions, please send a follow-up e-mail to tjessup@ssih.org.
Submission Deadline
The Deadline for submissions is June 20, 2025, at 17:00 Eastern Time
Next Steps/Timeline
After the deadline, the Meetings Oversight Commission will evaluate each candidate’s submission. The Meetings Oversight Commission will recommend a slate to the SSH Executive Committee.
The Governance Committee will review the Disclosure of interest forms for each potential Chair. If a potential conflict is found, a COI management plan will be created. If a conflict is deemed unmanageable, the individual will not be able to participate.
Notifications are planned to be sent in early August.
