STATEMENT OF INTEREST
I am honored to submit my statement of interest for consideration as a member of the Board of Governors of the Academy. Throughout my professional journey, I have developed a deep appreciation for the essential role governance plays in shaping organizations committed to excellence. The Board’s responsibility to steward the Academy’s strategic priorities and long-term vision is both significant and inspiring. I am eager to contribute my leadership experience and collaborative approach to further strengthen the Fellowship’s collective expertise.
Across academic, clinical, and professional simulation leadership roles, I have consistently emphasized strategic planning, ethical stewardship, and organizational integrity. Upholding the principles outlined in the Code of Conduct Policy is foundational to my leadership philosophy, and I am committed to advancing professionalism and accountability within the Academy.
Since becoming an FSSH in 2020, I have actively served the Academy through the Service to the Academy committee and by reviewing fellowship applications. In 2025, I contributed to redesigning the application process, developing the FSSH handbook, and establishing a reviewer training program. These efforts provided meaningful insight into policy development, governance processes, and sustaining high professional standards.
If selected, I will serve with integrity, vision, and collaboration, ensuring the Academy continues to advance innovation, excellence, and stewardship within our profession.
