Looking to become more involved with SSH?
We have so many exciting opportunities available to volunteer and serve your community of global community of healthcare simulationists!
Many of our Sections, SIGs and Affinity Groups have open positions for leadership roles of these groups! These groups are member led, and focused on specific areas within simulation. A few weeks ago, I had the incredible opportunity to attend a meeting with leaders from SSH Affiliate organizations across the globe.
And, let me tell you, it was beyond exciting!
Aloha! Influences for a presidential address come from many sources, and this one is no different.
SSH is making a difference working together with the wisdom and influence of many voices from its membership and many other vantage points.
If you weren’t aware, one of the top reasons healthcare simulation professionals join SSH is for networking opportunities.
In the halls at events, in volunteer activities and meetings, and even online in chats – you never know when or where that next career-boosting connection is going to spark. We just know that it does, which is why we strive like we do to provide those spark environments for our members!
It’s no secret that people join associations for networking.
True, education and access to resources also are key contributors. But, connecting with professional peers, joining niche solution groups, and learning from trusted individuals who express similar mission and purpose goals will always be near the top of any “reason for membership” list.
