HARRISON, Ohio — The Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) has joined forces with the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP), the National Association of EMS Educators (NAEMSE), and the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians to issue a unified position statement on simulation-based education (SBE) in EMS training.
We are so thrilled to share this milestone with you and are grateful for all of the outstanding individuals in the healthcare simulation field that have worked to grow our global community of practice.
“At a time when healthcare systems face mounting challenges, reducing staff and altering structures within key agencies will weaken our national ability to respond to emerging health threats.”
Connection is defined as, “a relationship in which a person, thing, or idea is linked or associated with something else” and/or the New York Times game, where players are asked to make 4 equal groups out of 16 items, identifying commonalities between the items within the groups.
Can you make connections with the terms below? Can you figure out groups of 4 linked terms and what connects them? (The answers are in the message that follows.)
