Hello to you all!

We knew the 24th International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare here in San Diego, was going to be a record-setter - and it was with nearly 4,300 attendees! 

But, friends, let me tell you, we didn’t know another record would be provided by Mother Nature.

With huge excitement, I am pleased to start this update with the announcement of our new SSH Director of Certification, Rachel Araujo!

Rachel comes to us from SMT/Prometric, the test development and delivery company with which we have worked with since 2011. She has been our key point of contact and knows our certifications and exam development process — and has been involved in every stage.

Many of you know her already. For those who do not, she is a great addition to our staff and will take our certification programs into the next evolution — very exciting!

During the International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare (IMSH ) in San Diego, the SSH Development Committee met for an in-person meeting to discuss the SSH Fund.

Wow! It’s hard to believe it’s already been a few weeks since many of us were on site together in San Diego for the record-setting IMSH 2024.

Thank you to everyone who attended and presented at IMSH 2024!

IMSH was one for the record books with over 750 presentations offered and our largest exhibit hall ever! If you attended IMSH 2024 and are missing any session scans please contact us at education@ssih.org and we’ll gladly get your transcript corrected.
