THE PULSE - IMSH Connections: Your Networking Power-Up!

IMSH Connections is a professional development program designed to help attendees make the most of their experience at the International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare.

Created to foster meaningful engagement among educators, clinicians, researchers, and industry partners, the program offers structured opportunities for networking, mentorship, and idea-sharing. Whether participants are new to IMSH or long-time attendees seeking fresh perspectives, Connections provides a welcoming pathway to build relationships within the simulation community.

A core feature of the program is its emphasis on guided interaction. Facilitated activities — such as roundtable discussions, themed meetups, and expert-led conversations — ensure that even those who are new to the conference feel supported and included.

Beyond networking, the IMSH Connections program serves as a catalyst for long-term professional growth. Many participants find new collaborators for research projects, discover innovative teaching strategies, or establish mentor-mentee relationships that continue long after the conference ends. By intentionally bringing people together in a structured yet welcoming environment, the program strengthens the global simulation community and enhances the overall impact of the IMSH experience.

The program has many enhancements for IMSH 2026!

A virtual session prior to IMSH will be held on Thursday, December 4, at 1 p.m. ET.  Information for this session will be shared soon! We will also be hosting Convention Center tours and “Open House” style events where you have the opportunity to informally meet with SSH Section, SIG and Affinity Group Leaders.

Reach out to me today with any questions or how to get involved with this program.

See you at IMSH 2026!
