Greetings!
I hope that you are all enjoying the last weeks of the summer. In the rural Pennsylvania community where I grew up, August was traditionally associated with the beginnings of harvest time.
So, it seems a fitting month to focus on how simulation can be used to address issues in rural healthcare.
Lately, I have been reminded just how much is moving through SSH at any given moment.&

As I write this, SSH just put the wraps on an incredible SimOps 2026. While every simulation program depends on the simulation operation specialists who create the cases, apply the moulage, run the sessions, and make sure that all needed equipment is functioning in top form, these vital personnel often go unseen.
