As we close out an incredible year of growth and innovation across the simulation community, now is a perfect time to power up our collective impact. The SSH Fund is thriving, thanks to you, and we are gearing up for an exciting season of giving and engagement!
The Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) continues to advance its mission through the SSH Development Fund — our philanthropic arm supported by members and donors. The Fund fuels priority programs that reflect the values and vision of our community, including research grants, SimVentor Awards, Beverlee Anderson Scholarships, and the Chad Epps Lecture Endowment.
Announced on October 1, 2024, the new SSH Discovery Award recognizes the importance of funding larger, longer-range projects led by experienced researchers in the field. This has been a goal of SSH’s already successful research award program, and the SSH Fund is helping make this award possible.

As the SSH Fund continues year two of its ambitious mission to drive innovation and research and broaden access to the Society, I want to begin by expressing my deepest gratitude to everyone who supported the SSH Fund in 2023. Your generosity will enable us to distribute $70,000 to initiatives that you, our outstanding community, told us were important to you.
