THE PULSE - SSH Accreditation applications due July 15! > The Society for Simulation in Healthcare
JOIN/RENEW SSH

Summer is quickly approaching and so is the July 15 deadline for SSH Accreditation applications!

If you are considering applying and joining over 250 healthcare simulation programs worldwide who are SSH Accredited, we wanted to communicate some changes to the SSH Accreditation Application process.

To start, we are asking all programs who are considering applying for the first time to complete our SSH Accreditation Application Readiness Survey. A link to this survey can be found on our SSH Accreditation webpage. Once the survey is completed, it will be reviewed and you will received an update from SSH Accreditation staff that details the next steps for your Program. We are excited to launch this application readiness survey and strongly believe it will help streamline the SSH Accreditation Application process.

If you are considering applying, SSH has some great resources for you to take advantage of as you prepare your application.

Registration is currently available for upcoming online courses on the SSH Accreditation standards. All of the courses are taught by experienced SSH Accreditation Program Reviewers who will share important information on the requirements for accreditation as well as details on the application process. Additionally, attendees of the courses will learn how to identify strengths and weaknesses of their programs as compared to the SSH Accreditation Standards. For more information about the online Accreditation courses as well as links to register, please click here.

Other helpful resources all SSH Accreditation applicants are encouraged to take advantage of during the application preparation process are the SSH Accreditation Standard Companion Documents. The companion documents have been written by SSH Accreditation Program Reviewers in an effort to provide Programs with additional information regarding the intent of each standard, while also providing suggestions on the type of information and documentation that could be supplied by a Program to demonstrate compliance with the standard. Standards and companion documents can be found by clicking on the links below:

Until next time!
