Wow! It’s hard to believe it’s already been a few weeks since many of us were on site together in San Diego for the record-setting IMSH 2024.

142 companies — representing 19 countries! — joined us as exhibitors at IMSH and combined to form the largest hall footprint in IMSH history. Speaking to how fast and far healthcare simulation is growing, 32 of these companies were first-time IMSH exhibitors revealing their respective new technologies.

Of these 32 companies, eight of them were a part of the first-ever IMSH Start-up Central - a pavilion on the IMSH Exhibit Hall show floor showcasing innovative startups that have recently brought cutting-edge technologies and products to the market.

The goal of Startup Central is to bridge the gap between SimVentors and the general IMSH Exhibit Hall floor, providing exposure for those younger or smaller innovative companies to the simulation community before they commit to general show floor space. It’s one way we hope we can help these mid-step companies grow!

Spirits and energy also are high coming off of IMSH 2024 in other places. Many Corporate Roundtable members — 31, in fact — locked in their booth space for IMSH 2025 while on-site in San Diego! Several of these companies have elected again to increase their footprint from their 2024 space, representing continued growth, progression, and commitment to attendees within our industry.

In addition to securing booth space in advance, Corporate Roundtable members met on-site at IMSH to reflect on the past year and to discuss the group’s goals for this upcoming year.

Several members of the Corporate Roundtable currently play an integral role in the development of the Future of Simulation Technology White Paper which is on track to be completed in 2025. In addition to the white paper, the Corporate Roundtable will continue to strengthen its relationship with the SSH Board of Directors, providing pertinent feedback on industry related topics and initiatives in order to foster the advancement of technology in simulation in healthcare.

The Corporate Roundtable is actively seeking new members who are interested in partnering with SSH to promote the visibility and recognition of the science and study of simulation into the future. If you are interested in learning more about the SSH Corporate Roundtable, please reach out to ofleenor@ssih.org.

Although IMSH 2024 has come to a close, we have many exciting things in store.

Keep an eye out for announcements regarding the SimOps exhibit sales (opening early March 2024), IMSH exhibit and sponsorship sales (opening late April 2024), and the return of the popular SSH Virtual Learning Labs – hosted by members of the Corporate Roundtable – just to name a few.

We’ll talk to you soon!
