Is your program interested in becoming SSH Accredited but doesn’t know where to start?
Join us during Healthcare Simulation Week 2022 on Monday, September 12, at 1 p.m. Eastern Time (U.S.) to learn about the benefits of SSH Accreditation. The session will discuss how SSH Accreditation standards provide benchmarks for simulation program performance & help ensure that learners have access to high-quality simulation training resources & expertise.
It’s a session you don’t want to miss, so plan to attend!!
In addition to the webinar during Healthcare Simulation Week, SSH has some great resources for you to take advantage of as you prepare your application.
Registration is currently available for upcoming online courses on the SSH Accreditation standards. All courses are taught by experienced SSH Accreditation Program Reviewers who share important information on the requirements for accreditation as well as details on the application process. Additionally, attendees of the courses will learn how to identify strengths and weaknesses of their programs as compared to the SSH Accreditation Standards. For more information about the online Accreditation courses as well as links to register, visit here.
Other helpful resources all SSH Accreditation applicants are encouraged to take advantage of during the application preparation process are the SSH Accreditation Standard Companion Documents.
The companion documents have been written by SSH Accreditation Program Reviewers to provide programs with additional information regarding the intent of each standard, while also providing suggestions on the type of information and documentation that could be supplied by a program to demonstrate compliance with the standard.
When your program is ready to apply, the process is completed through SSH Accreditation’s online submission portals for Provisional or Full Accreditation. The submission portals are currently open with the latest standards and can be found at the following links: SSH Provisional Accreditation Standards and SSH Full Accreditation Standards.
Of course, if you have any questions about SSH Accreditation, we’re here to help! Simply contact us by email at kgadlage@ssih.org or bholzwarth@ssih.org.
Let’s get you accredited through the best healthcare simulation accrediting body in the world!
