SSH Accreditation is proud to announce we received a record number application submissions from our most recent application deadline!

Accreditation by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) demonstrates an organization performs at a level of excellence that meets international standards for simulation-based healthcare education, performance improvement, and integrity. SSH Accreditation is both an indicator of excellence and a mechanism for advocacy. Accreditation standards provide benchmarks for simulation program performance and help ensure that learners have access to high-quality simulation training resources and expertise. Over 250 Programs around the world have achieved the distinction of SSH Accreditation which makes us the largest healthcare accrediting body in the world.

We’d love to add YOUR organization to our community of Accredited Programs! We’re committed to providing applicants with resources to help put them on a path to success. The SSH Accreditation Standard Companion Documents are a free resource that provide insight into the intent of the standards and how an organization can demonstrate compliance. These documents can be found on the SSH Accreditation webpages:

Finally, we are excited to announce that due to the growing number of application submissions, we are encouraging SSH members expand your networking and SSH engagement and apply to become an SSH Accreditation Reviewer.  Being an SSH Accreditation Reviewer allows you to see and learn from Simulation Programs around the world and network with peers in Healthcare Simulation. This unique opportunity does require a commitment of time from those who choose to become involved. If you’re interested in expanding your volunteering with SSH please visit our website to learn more about eligibility, roles and responsibilities, and how to apply.

Until next time!
