Education Committee

The Education Committee shall support the membership in developing and implementing their abilities to use simulation-based methods in healthcare education. 

SSH Education Committee Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) Mission Statement

The SSH Education Committee will develop and implement professional development opportunities for interprofessional healthcare providers working to improve the practice of healthcare through the delivery of simulation-based education.This mission will be accomplished through the provision of live and online interproessional continuing education (IPCE) activities, mentorship opportunities, professional collaboration channels, and an online portal of enduring materials and resources.Program effectiveness will be measured using the following criteria: 1) Change in provider and/or team knowledge; 2) Acquisition of new, or enhancement of existing, provider and/or team skills and strategies; and 3) Improvement in overall provider and/or team performance.In addition, the SSH Education Committee will partner with the SSH Board of Directors and other program entities, to measure the impact of SSH programming on the overall practice of simulation-based education in healthcare, and ultimately, patient care outcomes.
