The countdown to IMSH 2023 is on – just FIVE weeks and counting!
We are certain you’ve noticed increased IMSH discussions in SimSpotlight, email blasts, Zoom calls, and general conversation. Our industry partners are busy preparing their latest simulation products and services for the largest Expo Hall in IMSH history.
Not only is the Expo Hall a great marketplace, but it is also a terrific educational experience.
This year’s marketplace is designed to be the “IT” place to be anytime you are not in courses. First and foremost, the hall is a robust exhibit hall with more than 120 companies from 19 countries on the floor eager to show you the latest and most up to date services and products. In fact, it will be the LARGEST exhibition floor in simulation conference history!
Here’s how to maximize your time on the exhibit hall floor:
· Take advantage of FOUR complimentary food/meal gatherings:
Lunches: Sunday (new), Monday, Tuesday
Happy Hour: Sunday (4:30pm-6pm). Great food and cash bars
· Visit the many Oral Presentations and poster-side Professor Rounds that will showcase the latest findings in scientific research
· On Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, from 11:30-1:30, check out the IMSH Pressbox presented by SSH and HealthySimulation.com. Following last year’s success, you again will be able to watch and hear live interviews with industry and SSH leaders! This year, we’ve added four podcasts to the mix along with our broadcast area!
· Don’t miss the many new innovations SimVentors Showcase – The SSH SimVentors: Technology Experiential Area will provide a hands-on, interactive learning area for usability and practice using new learning tech!
· Need a break – stop in at the Mindfulness Lounge – a place to relax and chill!
In addition to all of that, I also must highlight the IMSH Learning Labs, hosted by members of the SSH Corporate Roundtable.
Dedicated to professional connection and development, the Learning Labs provide that and more. Their hands-on approach is a leading contributor to the increase in number of Labs available and their growing popularity amongst IMSH attendees.
The Labs are offered at no charge and are included as part of your IMSH registration. We only ask you register on the mobile app (available soon!) so a seat can be reserved for you. Oh, and one more very important note… NEW THIS YEAR! A handful of the SSH Learning Labs ARE eligible for CE credit.
We are excited to welcome you to Orlando in January. Meeting attendance is rebounding with strong attendance, meetings are back in force, and people are anxious to meet in person.
Orlando is ready, the convention center is ready, the hotels are ready, and we at SSH are ready - for you!
