Looking to become more involved with SSH?

We have so many exciting opportunities available to volunteer and serve your community of global community of healthcare simulationists!

Many of our Sections, SIGs and Affinity Groups have open positions for leadership roles of these groups! These groups are member led, and focused on specific areas within simulation. In order to be eligible for one of these roles, you must be both a member of the group and a member of SSH. The groups with open positions include:

• Advanced Practice Providers SIG
• Anesthesia Section
• Emergency Medicine Section
• EMS Affinity Group
• Federal Medical Simulation Training Consortium Affinity Group
• Formal Training Programs Affinity Group
• In situ and Mobile Simulation Affinity Group
• Internal Medicine Affinity Group
• Interprofessional Education (IPE) Affinity Group
• Low-cost and low-resource Affinity Group
• OBGYN Section
• Pharmacy SIG
• Super-sized Simulation Centers Affinity Group
• Virtual Simulation Section

Not ready to lead a group but still want to get involved? 

You can join any of these groups as an SSH member and any Affinity Group as a non-member. We are also excited to have three brand new Affinity Groups:

• New to Simulation
• Rehabilitation

You can join these new groups, or any of the others, through your SSH profile.

The SSH STORM Magazine Editorial Board has an open call for peer reviewers.  Additional information can be found here, along with other open opportunities that are available.
