The purpose of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare is to serve a global community of practice enhancing the quality of healthcare.
The mission of the Healthcare Systems Modeling & Simulation Affinity Group is to develop and use modeling and computer simulation resources with a systems engineering-based approach to design and evaluate (system) solutions that will improve patient safety, quality of care, and cost effectiveness in healthcare.
